Event Details

The Charlotte Area Association of Black Journalists is hosting our Super Bowl Party at the newly renovated lounge of the Sheraton Charlotte Airport Hotel. Proceeds go to our college scholarship fund.

This is your invitation to a great night. See the biggest game of the year in a stylish locale, with free pizza and snacks. 

We're also holding a phenomenal raffle. Buy a $3 raffle ticket and predict the night's winner for a chance to win

  • Fine Jewelry: A custom crafted sterling silver bangle retailing for $200
  • Fine Dining: A decadent experience at Crave dessert bar
  • Gift Certificates to local shops
  • Other door prizes
  • Tickets are $3 each, and 4 for $10

Hedge your bets by banking on both teams, and you'll help us reach our fundraising goals even faster.

Tickets to the mixer:

  • $7 for CAABJ members who purchase tickets by 11:59 pm Saturday, Feb. 4
  • $7 for News photographers who purchase a ticket by 11:59 pm Saturday, Feb. 4.
  • $10 apiece at the door for members and guests.

The party starts at 6 pm Sunday, Feb. 5. at the Sheraton, 3315 Scott Futrell Drive, Charlotte, NC.
